What a garden project can include

Mix and match. Most gardens use paving and planting together.

  • Interlocking paver path running between palm fronds and clipped shrubs in dappled light

    Paving and paths

Interlocking pavers, stone or tile for paths, seating areas and drives. Falls are set so water runs away from the house.

  • Low natural stone wall beside block paving and trimmed hedges in soft light

    Walls, steps and planters

Low walls, steps, edges and raised beds that hold levels and give the garden its shape. Retaining walls need drainage behind them.

  • Potted fan palm on a flagstone terrace beside a gravel path and a clipped hedge

    Planting and shade

Palms, shrubs and ground cover chosen for heat, with shade trees where you will sit. Lawn asks for the most water, so many gardens use less of it.

  • Low bollard light glowing among shrubs in a garden bed at dusk

    Outdoor lighting

Path, wall and uplights so the garden works after dark. Cables go in before paving, and fittings are made for outdoor use.

A garden that earns its water

Water is the main thing a garden here asks of you. Plants chosen for heat, gravel or mulch over bare soil, and drip lines that run to the roots keep that demand down.

Hardscape does a lot of the work. Paving, shade and low walls give a garden shape that does not depend on how much lawn you can water, and they make the space usable when the sun is low.

Wind carries sand and dust. A wall, hedge or screen in the right place protects seating areas, and tidy edges stop sand drifting into beds.

Questions to settle first

These choices shape the design and the running costs. We go through them with you at the first assessment.

How will you use the space?
Sitting, dining, play, a path to the gate or a view from inside. Use decides the paving, the shade and where the lights go.
How much water can you give it?
Be honest about irrigation and who will look after the garden. Lawn, shrubs and gravel beds need very different amounts of water and care.
Where will the water go?
Paving needs falls and drains so water does not pool or run toward the house. Retaining walls need drainage behind them.
What is underground?
Pipes, cables and drains can run below the garden. Find them before anyone digs, and plan around them.
How should it look as it grows?
Young plants are small. Plan spacing for their full size, so the garden looks right now and later.

How a garden project runs

Garden work follows our renovation process, from the first visit to handover.

How every renovation runs
  1. 01

    Initial consultation and assessment

We walk the garden with you and note sun and shade, levels, drainage, existing trees, walls and services.

  2. 02

    Designing and planning

Layout, paving, planting, lighting and how the garden will be watered are agreed with you, along with the price breakdown and any approvals.

  3. 03

    Full renovation with expert contractors

Levels and drainage first, then walls and paving, then lighting cables, with planting last so nothing is trampled.

  4. 04

    Finishing touches and final inspections

Joints, edges, falls and lights are checked, and plants are set out and watered in.

  5. 05

    Post-renovation cleaning and handover

We clear the site and show you how to look after the paving, lights and plants. Customer satisfaction guaranteed.

Garden work and community rules

Villa communities often have rules on walls, levels, trees, boundary treatment and what can be seen from the street. Larger walls, structures and changes to drainage or services can need approval from your developer or community, often as a no-objection certificate (NOC), and sometimes a permit from the relevant authority. Ask for your community's guidelines first. Permits and approvals are part of our support services, so we can take the paperwork on with you.

Permits and approvals in Dubai

Garden questions, answered

What plants suit a Dubai garden?

Palms, hardy shrubs and ground covers that cope with heat and wind do well. We choose by sun, soil and how much watering you will do, and share the options before planting.

Can you do just the paving, without planting?

Yes. Paving, paths, walls and lighting can be a project on their own, with planting added later.

Is artificial grass worth considering?

It saves water, but it gets hot in direct sun and still needs a good base and drainage. Natural lawn needs regular water and mowing. Tell us how you use the space and we will talk through the trade-offs.

Who handles the lighting and power?

Our electrical team can run cables and fit lights as part of the same job, so wiring goes in before paving.

Do I get a price before work starts?

Yes. The estimate is free, with no obligation or upfront payment required. Before work begins we detail every step of the breakdown, so you know exactly what you are paying for and there are no hidden charges.
